Shipping Methods

When selecting your shipping method please choose the least expensive method.
Our shipping rates vary by product weight, customer location and purchase amount. Also, there may be additional shipping charges for remote locations, see details listed below to determine if you are in a remote location or Contact Us for a shipping quote before ordering.
"Shipping with a discount" will not neccesarily be the least expensive method on orders that are light and of low value.

If the item you order is marked as "Normally ships within 48 hours" that means it is an item that we normally have in stock. If we are currently out of stock we will let you know by email. Depending on the options you chose your kit may not ship within 48 hours if selected options are not in stock. Items marked as "Special Order" are not available for "Pick Up and Pay"

Shipping Notes, Please Read

SMALL PARCELS under 50 lbs can be shipped by Canada Post or by courier to most locations in Canada. This does not include items over 48" long.

COMPLETE LIFT KITS may require shipping by Truck Freight or on a pallet. Our shipping rates are based on shipping to a freight depot or a business. Most trucking companies will not do resedential deliveries and you will be required to pick up your order at the nearest courier depot.

TRUCK FREIGHT rates include the following locations; British Columbia (Interior & Lower Mainland major cities), Alberta (Edmonton-Calgary corridor), Saskatchewan (Regina & Saskatoon areas), Manitoba (Winnipeg & Brandon areas), Ontario (GTA), Quebec (St Lawrence Seaway area), Atlantic Provinces major cities, Newfoundland major centers. If your location is not on this list then you may be in a Remote Location.

REMOTE LOCATIONS; Our shipping rates are to major centers and outlying areas my be designated as Remote Locations which will incur extra shipping charges. Remote locations include, but are not limited to, Vancouver Island, most areas of Atlantic Canada, Most of Northern Canada and areas outside of the locations listed above. If you would like a shipping quote before ordering please CONTACT US.

During Checkout you will be asked for delivery details. For SMALL PARCELS you can select for us to ship to your home address if there will be somebody home to sign for the package. We can not specify with the courier when they will drop it off but it will be between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm on the day of delivery. You will be sent a tracking link to follow your package so you can be home. If there is nobody home the package will be take to the depot and a Door Knocker will be left telling you where to pick it up. If you select "Yes" we will attempt to have it delivered to your house. If you select "No" we will have it held at the depot where you can pick it up when it is convenient for you.

If you are paying by eTransfer or Paypal you can select to have it left at your door without a signature but you will then be responsible for loss, theft or damage to the item. If you are paying by Credit card then a signature is required and this option is not available if nobody will be home to sign for the package.

 

Where we ship your order to

Orders paid by Credit Card can only be shipped to the credit card holder's address or held for pick up at the nearest courier or trucking company depot.

If you selected a different shipping address than the billing address we will need to verify that you are the cardholder and that the order is shipping to your work address or another verified address. If you selected "Hold at the depot" or shipping by "Truck Freight" when checking out we will require that you show ID to pick up your package. If you are trying to ship your order to a friend or family member then you will need to pay by eTransfer as orders paid by credit card can only be shipped to the cardholder.

Orders paid by PayPal will ship to the PayPal verified address or held at a freight depot to be picked up by the person who's name the PayPal account is in.

If you select Home Delivery and nobody is home the package will be taken back to the depot where you will need to pick it up unless you specify in the order notes to leave the package without a signature. If you specify it to be left without a signature any loss or damage to the order will be covered by PayPal as we will be unable to do a freight claim. If you want your package left at your housewithout a signature pay by PayPal. Orders over $500 can not be left without a signature as per PayPal terms and conditions.

Orders paid by eTransfer can ship to any Address you request. If you want your order shipped to a friend or family member then this is the best way to pay. We recommend shipping to a business address, if available, as couriers typically deliver orders to businesses first and then do residential deliveries.

Normal transit times are as follows; 1 business day to Alberta & Saskatchewan, 2 Days to BC & Manitoba, 3 days to Southern Ontario & Quebec, 4 to 10 days to the rest of Canada. Rural and "Beyond" locations may take extra time. Please allow time for your order to be processed in addition to these shipping times.

Shipping Methods 

We offer several different shipping methods to help you get the best rates.

Shipping with a discount is based on the cost of the products you are ordering. It does not take into account the weight of the order, it uses a flat rate shipping charge and then gives a discount on shipping based on the value of your order and your location. Discounts are applied on orders of $200 or more and the discount is considered a product price reduction and if the product is returned the shipping discount will be deducted from the credit amount. Some heavy or bulky items are not available for this shipping method.

Ground Shipping by Weight is based on a base charge plus a cost per pound. Rates vary by product weight and shipping location. The weight will be based on the higher of the actual weight and the cubic weight. This is usually the least expensive shipping method for small orders in Western Canada. This shipping method is available for most items with the exception of some bulky or oversize products.

Canada Post can be used to ship small items, generally under 50 lbs maximum and is economical to Central, Eastern and Northern Canada. Our shipping discounts mean that Canada Post is not the best method of shipping in Western Canada.

Pick Up in Wetaskiwin Alberta is for product that is to be held at our warehouse for pick up. It will be available for all products and locations in Western or Northen Canada.

Truck Freight is a flat rate shipping charge for large or heavy products. Shipping will be to a freight company depot or business location only and resedential deliveries are not available by truck freight. This shipping method will be available for all products but is usually only the least expensive option on heavy or bulky items.

Notes about Remote Locations

There are also many areas which are considered "Beyond" which are out of the normal service areas for most couriers. We get charged a higher rate for shipping to these locations. If we find that the shipping costs to your location are more than we have allowed we may contact you to let you know that you will be responsible for the additional shipping costs. You are free to cancel your order if you feel the shipping charges are too high. A general rule for determining if you are in a location that is considered "Beyond" is if there is a "0" in the first 3 digits of your postal code (Example T0C1Z8) . Rates are generally 30% to 50% higher for these Postal Codes.

Out of Canada BDS Suspension & Zone Offroad orders

If you're not in Canada and wish to place an order please email us and we can give you the details on how to arrange an order to be shipped out of country. All out of country orders need to be paid by bank wire transfer and the customer will be responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. We can refer you to a freight company that we recommend.

Cancelled Orders

Orders Cancelled before processing

If you cancel your order before it is processed you will be charged the discount fee that we are charged by the credit card processor. In the case of PayPal this fee is 3% and is charged to us and not refundable instantly upon you confirming the payment. If you pay by credit card we can "void" the transaction if we are made aware of the cancellation immediately. If you want to cancel your order and have paid by credit card you should phone us so that we can try to cancel the payment before it is closed at the end of business hours and avoid that processing cost. This option may not be available outside of business hours. Orders paid by credit card that can’t be voided will not have the 3% credit card processing fee refunded.

Cancellations on orders that are paid by eTransfer and cancelled before processing will have the full amount returned.

Orders cancelled after being processed

Once an order has been processed you will receive an email notification as to the status of your order. This means that your order has either been sent to the shipping department or else your parts have been ordered and will ship as soon as they are available. If you want to cancel your order once it has reached this stage of processing there will be a $10 cancellation fee deducted from the refund as well as the above mentioned credit card processing fee.

Why do we do this?

Because we make every effort to keep our prices as low as possible. How would you feel if you knew that part of the cost of your order was caused by other shoppers cancelling their orders? By passing these costs directly back to the customers that cancelled their orders we can keep our prices as low as possible.

Return Policy

Returns are only accepted on items marked as "30 Day Return Policy Applies"

Items marked as discounted or clearance are being sold at a reduced price and are not eligble for return. Items marked as Special order are not returnable for any reason. All returns require prior authorization. Parts sent back without authorization will be refused or destroyed. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges except on items shipped back due to defective from new or item not as described.

Credit for returns that are approved and accepted will be credited back to the customer less a 10% handling & restocking fee with a minimum charge of $20
