What makes this system different from many competitors is it includes both a strut pre-load spacer as well as a top strut spacer. In order to gain 2" of lift on these trucks it's not possible to do it right with a top or bottom strut spacer alone. This is due to the factory geometry where a longer strut assembly will make the ball joint the droop limit which could cause premature wear and/or failure. BDS makes a strut spacer that fits within the limits of the factory ball joint angles and adds the additional lift from the strut pre-load spacer. This system is ideal to level your vehicle in order to run larger than stock tires and the added preload puts more pressure on a heavier tire and wheel combination to keep it in contact w/ the road or trail. You cannot run larger than stock tires on the factory wheel due to interference with the OE steering knuckle. Optional rear NX² series or Fox 2.0 Performance gas shocks are available for a full front to back upgrade. This kit does not lift the rear of the truck
