Important Kit Notes

  • 1. 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling driveshaft.
  • 2. The carrier bearing drop (122405) is necessary for models equipped with two piece rear drive shaft.
  • 3. Some vehicles may require rear driveshaft spacer kit 122007 to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement.
  • 4. Will NOT fit cab and chassis models.
  • 5. The shocks used in these kits are different than a standard 3500, do not use a different shock length or damage to the air bag will result.
  • 6. Can be used on SRW or DRW models.

4" Radius Arm Suspension System for the RAM 3500 Gas 4WD Trucks
Designed to improve the looks and performance of your RAM 3500, these kits include everything necessary to correctly lift them for improved offroad capability while maintaining on-road handling. The 4" kits will lift and level the stance with clearance for up to 37" tires. They use a pair of full-length progressive rate coil springs to provide extra height and smooth controlled performance. A forged drop pitman arm is supplied to correct steering angles along with an HD bar drop bracket to re-center the front axle. A pair of sway bar drop brackets to reposition the OE sway bar for optimal performance along with extended polyurethane bump stops to limit up travel and brake line brackets to allow full droop. To correct the front suspension geometry at the new height a pair of heavy-duty replacement radius arms bolt directly into the factory location. These new radius arms are a massive upgrade to the factory stamped units, using tubular construction and a lower cam adjustment to dial in the front end caster. Also supplied are your choice of BDS NX2 gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks for improved ride and performance.

In the rear of the RAM 3500 kits BDS supplies a 3" lift block to lift/level the stance comes along with repleacement high strength u-bolts and your choice of gas shocks. A bolt-on spacer is added to reposition the air bag to retain full functionality of the system.
